| Bits and pieces |
So many things to write, so little time. You know they should invent some kind of machine that lets you sleep in it for 15 min and lets you out of it fresh as a daisy to go on for the rest of the day. Seriously, 24 hours is not enough >.<
So what's new?
Well, I went to pick up Raine this morning at the vet. She's safe and sound from the surgery and her recovery looks good :) Her behavior didn't change one bit so I'm glad for that. She looks funny with her shaved belly though hee hee
Another thing, while browsing for a new anime wallpaper to put on my desktop, I stumbled upon one about an anime called Ergo Proxy .
The main character, Re-I Meyer, has Witch Hunter robin looks with blue make up around her eyes. I was like " hmm this anime is interesting, now where to get a preview or even download it?" Well, I spent 12 hrs downloading the fansubs in a bulk, got all the 26 episodes now. The OP song Kiri from Monoral is awesome and the ending theme is none other than Paranoid Android from Radiohead. That's awesome >.< The story takes place in a futuristic domed city called Romdo ( which suffered from a natural disaster hence the dome) where androids(AutoReivs) and humans co-exist. And suddenly , some of these androids started suffering from the Cogito Virus (which is a reference to Descartes's saying "I think, therefore I am." because the androids develop human feelings and some kind of "soul"). So that pretty much sums it up.
Lastly, it's really late but I'm happy I bought a few weeks ago, a collector's edition of Monopoly but with the Super Mario characters in it :) and I got the 2nd volume of the Warcraft Sunwell Trilogy ( gotta order the first one now ^^;).
