| Stranger than... sugar high!?! |
Tonight, I went to see Stranger than Fiction at the AMC Forum with my friend Kevin after we had dinner at La Maison de Nouilles near the Guy metro. It was a very nice movie. It actually left me with a feel good feeling afterwards because even if something bad happens to the main character Harold ( superbly played by Will Ferrell, was funny seeing him in a relatively serious movie), it has a nice ending. The main actors in the movie ( Dustin Hoffman, Emma Thompson, Will Ferrell) were admirable in their roles and were touching. I recommend it to everyone that likes that kind of movie, it reminded me also of the Truman Show with Jim Carrey.
After the movie, we went to the small cafe/restaurant called Juliette and Chocolat on Saint-Denis where you can get delicious hot chocolate that's thick and sweet and good ice cream, pancakes, etc.
We took a bananasplit that was very well presented with chocolate and vanilla icecream and two kinds of chocolate syrup ( yummy :3) and some semi bitter dark hot chocolate that was thick . Hmmmmm :P Well it was a good night and I'll get some well deserved sleepnow after finishing up my assignment for this morning very late last night and my final exam at the same time. One class down , three to go :P |
